Reflective and Light Debriefing Consultation 

Heidi has been instrumental in maintaining my compassion and empathy while working in this role. My flame and passion for families and children safely being home with their parents would not be as steadfast without my group and individual time with Heidi. Heidi has been able to help me maintain my joy and sanity despite investigating horrific child maltreatment. I have always left Heidi feeling lighter and more capable than ever to continue this work.

As a regional director I have seen the impact of Heidi’s work with teams on a larger scale, her work has created positive impact on employee retention and satisfaction and self awareness of professionals that collaborate regularly together. All of this in turn increases positive outcomes for the populations we collectively serve.

I remember many of the times our team works with Heidi on reflective consultation because it impacts my life directly in ways that are so meaningful and memorable.

Our child protection team has been meeting individually and as a group with Heidi for a few years.  Heidi helps us approach situations with a practical and grounded mindset.  She reminds us to be true to ourselves and authentic in our actions and interactions.  She also helps us shift our perspective to see challenges and situations in a more positive and productive light.  I can personally say that Heidi has helped me become the best version of myself and find satisfaction and fulfillment in my professional life again.

Having Heidi provide reflective consultation services to our team and me specifically is meaningful in a way that I have not experienced before, she makes me think about things in a way that is unique, impactful and memorable.

Heidi’s work with our team has been individualized and specific to our needs, our work, and our hopes. She provides insight with balance, grit, and candor with compassion and at times humor. This in turn has helped us develop a deeper understanding of the impact our work has on us, our life outside of work, and our impact in the work place.

I find reflective consultation with Heidi to be helpful.  The nature of the work can be difficult, but she always finds a way to get us to open up and works to find ways to support us as a team.

Heidi is very relatable and easy to talk to, the opportunities she provides in our sessions to reflect or dig a little deeper have positively impacted me in my work and professional role but also my life outside of work. She is creative and adaptable, the calm in our storms at times, and as genuine as they come!
